Q: How is it Blair hears that the Cramps are playing a show when Lux Interior passed away in real life? I thought this took place in the present.
A: It does take place in the present. Due to Blair’s neurosis we don’t find out until a few episodes down that she misheard that the Cramps are playing. The name of the actual band performing is The Tramps.

Q: So Dexter misheard the advertisement too?
A: No. But since Dexter is her closest friend he sort of leads her on about things that aren’t truly happening. Think of a small child and an imaginary friend--you don’t tell the kid there’s no one there. You go along with it.

Q: Why is the pilot called Blueprint for Joy?
